How can I carry over organization tags into user profiles?
Answer
User and organization tags are carried over into tickets, but organization tags are not applied to the user and visa versa. Even if a user is part of an organization, it does not add the organization tag to the user profile.
Note: Tags are not available on the Essential plan.
It is possible to manually tag users individually and add those tags, but there are also two additional options available for a bulk update:
- Bulk User update with a CSV file and update the users with the tags.
- Use the API to bulk update users. This option requires some scripting work and resources.
